Rafael Amado

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Rafael “Ralphy” Amado on Friday June 28th, 2019.

Our hearts are forever broken on this massive void in our lives.  Ralphy was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle and grandfather.  He loved baseball till his very last days...he was a loyal NY Yankees fan, as well as a baseball coach all his life.

Ralphy was a happy outgoing loving person who had a heart of gold and impacted the lives of everyone that knew him. Ralphy loved dancing, sports and mostly enjoyed spending time with this family .  He was a fighter…he put up the battle of his life his last few weeks and tackled numerous challenges with his health…he battled to live until the very end…

Ralphy is survived by his 95 year old mother Lidia Amado, his children: Cindy Amado (& Yasar), Chasity Amado Amaya (& Alfred), Jody Rafael Amado, Jason Amado, Justin Amado and Nicole, his three grandchildren: Natalie, Andrew and Audriana, his two sisters Lidia  Amado Galvez & Lisset Stirpe, his 2 brothers Tony & Freddy Amado, brother and sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews that all adored him!
