Phyllis Belli Obituary

Phyllis Belli, 95, passed peacefully at Center of Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, NJ
surrounded by her beloved family on December 19, 2019.

She was born in Brooklyn New York on February 27, 1924, the oldest of five children.
In December of 1945 she married Julian Belli and had three children. They were married
over 50 years until Julian passed away in 2005.

Phyllis was compassionate, generous, an amazing cook and Fabulous shopper.
"Miss Glam" loved shopping on QVC and you would often see her dressed to the nines
on any given occasion and most usually her signature Joan Rivers Sunglasses.

Phyllis is survived by her brother Dean Balsamini and his wife JoeAnn, her three daughters
Francine, Marianne, her husband David, Gina and her beloved grandchildren Chun
and Julianne.

Charming, kind with a  hard working ethic and a good sense of humor she was always dedicated to her family and friends.
She will always be remembered for preparing delicious Italian meals. .
Phyllis often visited Kashi Ashram in Florida where two of her daughters lived and was given the spiritual name Sundari "The Beautiful One".
There she shared her secret recipe for eggplant Parmesan which was inherited from her mother.

Phyllis's essence will live on through her family, as well as those fortunate enough to call her a friend.
