Patricia Bobko

Patricia Bobko, 62, of Mountainside was warmly received in heaven on September 16, 2017. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 4 to 8PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield.  Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 306 Morris Ave., in Summit.

Patricia was very devoted to her loving family. She will be deeply missed by her husband Gary, her daughter, Kristin, her son, Steven, her brother, Steve Stukes, her son-in-law, Rob Johnson, and her grandson Colin Steven Johnson.  She took great pleasure and comfort spending time with her family and close friends.

Born in Kearny, Patricia graduated from Kean University and earned a master’s degree from Seton Hall University. She was a Child Life Therapist at Newark Beth Israel and Elizabeth General Hospitals prior to enjoying her role as a mom. Years later, she was a dedicated Middle School Guidance Counselor at several school districts before retiring from Dunellen Public Schools a few years ago.

Patricia will be fondly remembered for her love, warmth, kindness, devotion, positive outlook and frequent smiles.
