Mireille (Souza) Martinho

Mireille Martinho( Souza), 88, of Edison, our beloved mother and grandmother, pass away peacefully at Home surrounded by her family on March 31, 2017

Viewing will be held on Sunday April 2, 2017 from 3 to 6 pm at the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home , 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday , April 3, 2017 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church in Elizabeth. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia. 

Mrs Martinho is predeceased by her husband Nicolau (2016). Surviving are her daughter, Vivian Baeta and her husband Antonio and Rosemarie Lach and her husband Bruce, her grandchildren, Anthony and his wife Tammy, Christina, Jacqueline and Brian, his great-grandchildren, Christina and Nicolas also survived by her sister in law Suzanne Souza.

Mireille was born in San Gobain, France. She worked at Elmora Concrete Co and Papetti's Hygrade Egg as a bookkeeper for many years. She also was a lifelong member of the Portuguese Instructive Social Club in Elizabeth.
