June Maidan

June C. Maidan, 93, of Gettysburg Pennsylvania, passed away at home surrounded by her children on Friday, November 10, 2017. Mrs. Maidan was born in Maspeth, New York. In 1965 she moved to Waldwick, New Jersey, in 1988 she moved to Barnegat, New Jersey, and then in 2015 she moved to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She was a U. S. Navy veteran serving during World War II.  June was predeceased by her husband George in 2008.

Surviving June are her two daughters, Karen and her husband Russ Jeffray of Wall, New Jersey, and Kerry and her husband Charles Abruzzo of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, Christopher Jeffray and his significant other Reagan Terry, Ryan Jeffray and his wife Kathryn, Shane Jeffray, and Katie Kurlak and her husband Paul. She is also survived by her first great grandchild, Daniel Jeffray.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 53 West King Street Littlestown, Pennsylvania 17340.

Visitation will be Monday, November 13, 2017, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield New Jersey. On Tuesday morning following a service at 10 A.M. at the funeral home, interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
