John A. Rosenberg

John A. Rosenberg, 47 passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home in Roselle Park on July 21, 2018.  Born in Rahway, he worked for Cicariello Bros. Inc. for many years.   John volunteered as a Rahway Auxiliary Police Officer  and served in the Army National Guard for nine years.  John was a fun loving, caring person.  He loved the NY Giants and  Halloween.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating and fishing.  Family meant everything to him, and spending time with them was what John loved most.  He was always willing to lend a hand when needed.  John had a heart of gold and he will be forever missed.  

John is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Joyce (Cicariello) Rosenberg of Roselle Park, his mother, Barbara Derkack and step-father John; his father Eric Rosenberg Sr., and his step-mother, Ann Marie; his brothers Eric Jr., Michael, Sam, and Stephen; his sisters, Susan, Dawn, and Anne Marie; his sister in law Diane and brother in law Angelo; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Gathering with the family will be 2:00 – 4:00and 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the funeral home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 AM Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Theresa Church, 541 Washington Avenue, Kenilworth, NJ 07033.  Burial will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.  Memorial donations in John’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
