John Martin Lane

John Martin Lane, 76, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. 
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8 at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield, N.J., from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 9, at St. Helen's Church in Westfield at 12:30. Family and friends are all to meet at church on Friday morning. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington, N.J. 
John was born on March 29, 1942, to the late Catherine and Martin Lane. John was a proud and active member of the VFW In Kenilworth, NJ.  
Loving husband of Elaine, father of Brian and Kevin, and loving grandfather to Mary, Sophie, and Katie
