Jeffrey Nahaczewski

Jeff Nahaczewski, age 36, passed away on September 16, 2017 in Mountainside, N.J.

Jeff was a graduate of Westfield High School and attended Seton Hall University, Connecticut School of Broadcasting and Rowan University.

His passion in life was sports.  He had an amazing memory for sports trivia and memorabilia.  He would often call radio stations with the answers to their sports trivia questions and would be recognized for his astute knowledge of sports.

He was an accomplished athlete in high school.  His favorite sport was basketball, although he excelled at all sports.  As an adult, he coached children’s basketball, which combined his love of sports and sincere affection for children.

As much as he adored sports, he loved his family even more.  He is survived by his mother, Carol McCormack of Mountainside, N.J.; his father, Peter Nahaczewski and Step-Mother, Nancy Nahaczewski of Scotch Plains, N.J.; his brother, Michael Nahaczewski and Girlfriend Jovanna Bell of Kearny, N.J.; his grandparents, Lee and Bob McCormack of Toms River, N.J.; and his loving Girlfriend Danielle Weinstock and her daughter Natalie of Union, N.J.; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who loved him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Higgins & Bonner Funeral Home in Westfield, N.J. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. – 6 P.M.
