Ingrid Buchan

Ingrid Buchan passed away on August 3, 2018 at the age of 88.  Viewing and funeral will be held at Higgins & Bonner Funeral Home in Westfield, N.J. on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 at 10:00 am.  The Burial will follow directly at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.

Ingrid was born in Linz, Austria on July 22, 1930.  She was married to Raymond F. Buchan on November 20, 1947.  They were happily married for 68 years.

Ingrid worked in the finance department of AT&T before retiring with her beloved husband to Manahawkin, N.J.  She was also actively involved as a volunteer for the Southern Ocean Hospital for over 25 years.  She enjoyed traveling and her many friends and family.

Ingrid is survived by her son Wayne and his wife Carrie, her daughter-in-law Kathy, six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Marissa), Gregory, Bradley, Meaghan (Patrick), Erin (Aaron), Kevin (Alychia) and twelve great grandchildren. 

Ingrid was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Francis and her son, Raymond Walter, her sister Trudy Sturm and her brother-in-law Walter Buchan.
