Helen Harmon

Helen Harmon age 91, a long time Springfield resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 17, 2018. She was born in Newark to John and Mary Kowalski. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Harmon. Helen will be lovingly missed by her children Maryanne (Thomas); Eugene (Mary Ann) and Pamela (Kevin). Helen is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Amy (Mark); Eugene (Trisha); Lauren (Adam); Danny; Tod (Sarah); her beloved great- grandchildren Nicholas and Carly; her dear sisters Clara and Gloria and sister-in-law Edith along with many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Helen enjoyed the beach, to play Mah Jongg and especially spending time with her family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 22nd from 4-8pm at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 23rd, 10:00 am at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 South Springfield Avenue, Springfield.
