Ernest M. Reedy

Ernest Michael Reedy, 53, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Ernest was born on September 26, 1966 in Newark, NJ to Donald and Helen Reedy. He was a devoted husband and father.

To some he was known as Ernest to others as Mike but always impacted the lives of the people around him. He was known for his amazing sense of humor and his lively spirit. He always helped others and gave more than he asked in return. He was a devoted contributor to the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the past 25 years.   

Ernest Michael is survived by his spouse of 26 years Eugenia Reedy (Cacciatore) and three children Michael 24, Amanda 21 and Ashley 12. 

Family and friends are invited to Saint James Apostle Church in Springfield, NJ for visitation and a celebration of his life Sunday 4 – 8 PM, and the funeral Monday at 10:30AM at Saint James Apostle Church 45 South Springfield Avenue Springfield, NJ.

Ernest Michael’s essence will live on through his family, as well as those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
