Elba A. DeSanto, 89, of Whiting, NJ passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Viewing will be at the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582

Springfield Ave., Westfield, on Sunday March 26, 2017 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm.

 Services will be at the funeral home on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 9:00 am, the

Funeral Mass is at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Union, NJ at 10:30 am. Interment

will be at the Rosedale Cemetery in Linden. Elba was raised in Elizabeth, N.J. and

 was a secretary for the Elizabeth Board of Education for more than 35 years

before retiring 30 years ago. Elba was an active parishioner of Elizabeth Ann Seton

R.C. Church. Surviving are her daughter Alice DeSanto-Fontana and her husband,   

Thomas; daughter Phyllis King and her husband, Jeffrey; son Elliot DeSanto and

his wife, Susan; seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. In lieu of

flowers, consider donations to the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Rosary Altar Society,
