Edmond Lawrence Gosda

Edmond Lawrence Gosda of Clark, NJ entered eternal life on Thursday October 26, 2017 after a brief illness.

A funeral Mass celebrating Edmond’s life will be held at The Parish Community of Saint Helen in Westfield, N.J. on Tuesday, October 31 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Monday, October 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield, N.J. Internment will be private.

Edmond was born in Oakland, California, and spent his early years in Rockland County, NY. He lived in Piscataway, NJ for a number of years, and has been a resident of Clark, NJ since 2004. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Pace University, and his Master’s degree from Temple University. His career spanned many years in the validation aspect of the pharmaceutical industry working at Organon, Hoechst, and J&J. He was an active member in the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).

Edmond was actively involved in his childrens’ activities, including being the leader of his son’s Cub Scout Pack #73 of Westfield, NJ. He enjoyed outdoors activities including hiking, tennis, and biking, and was an avid sports fan. He was a member of the Deutscher Club of Clark, NJ.

His beloved wife, Andrea Parisse Gosda, predeceased him. He is survived by his two children, Charles and Grace Gosda of Clark, NJ. He is also survived by his parents, Larry & Annamarie Gosda, brother Christopher, brother Eric with wife Cindy and children Mychala and William, all of West Milford, New Jersey and by in-laws, Anthony and Virginia Parisse, Erika and Joseph Demetrick, niece Angelika and nephew Andrew.

Edmond was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
