Dolores Joan Rodel

Dolores J (Leary) Rodel Born October 8, 1952 Died September 30, 2019 Born in Elizabeth, NJ to Francis and Dorothy Leary, she was a graduate of Benedictine Academy (1971) and Union County Technical Institute (1973). A retired bank teller, Dee was active in the community as a proud supporter of the Phillipsburg High School Music Department and a member of the St. Mary's Choir. Dee is survived by her husband Drake, daughters Meaghan and Caitlin, sister Marianne Leary, niece Coleen Rand, 2 great-nieces and a large extended family. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 6, 2019 at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home (582 Springfield Ave. Westfield, NJ) from 2pm to 8pm on Sunday, October 6th. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 7th at St. Mary Church (830 5th Ave, Alpha, NJ) at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to March of Dimes.
