Charles Shutt II Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Shutt II of Summit, NJ departed life peacefully on May 15, 2018. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Rafferty Shutt, his sister Barbara, his son Charles, and daughter Kathryn.
Chuck was born in Paterson, NJ on August 10, 1949. He was the son of Elizabeth Rafferty Shutt and the late Charles J. Shutt, formerly a township tax assessor in Wayne, NJ. He graduated from Wayne Valley High School and Kentucky Wesleyan. He worked as a National Vice President of Sales at Good Humor Breyers Ice Cream until he retired.
Chuck loved and played football, basketball and baseball throughout high school and college. He enjoyed attending Devils hockey and Yankees baseball games, and was an avid football fan.
He loved summers at the Jersey shore in Bay Head and Ocean City with his children.
