Antonietta (Massa) Di Fabio

Antonietta Di Fabio (Massa), 92, of Garwood, passed away on December 25, 2017.  Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield. www.higginsandbonner.com A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Anne’s RC Church in Garwood. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Mrs. Di Fabio was born in Monteferrante, Italy.  She came to the United States and lived in Cranford before moving to Garwood 58 years ago.  She was predeceased by her son, Luca and her husband Anselmo.  Mrs. Di Fabio is survived by her son, Antonio, her daughters, Maria Auriema, Rita Gathercole and Lucy D’ Agostino.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
