ANGELIKI YOULIOS

Angeliki Youlios (nee Colonias), 95, of Woodland Park passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019.  Beloved wife of James Youlios and devoted mother of Stephen (Laura) of Santa Clarita, CA; Cathy of New York, NY; and George (Alison) of Woodland Park, NJ.  

Her husband James, her parents George and Margaret Colonias, her brother John, her sisters Betty, Anastasia, Evangelia and  Vasiliki, preceded Angela in death.  Her three devoted children and five loving grandchildren, Caroline, James and Rachel Youlios of California and Stephanie and Katie Youlios of New Jersey, in addition to her sister-in-law Jean Youlios and nephews George (Christina)  and Jim Colonias, survive her.  

Angela will be remembered as a strong, faithful, loving mother and grandmother who was dedicated to supporting her husband in all his endeavors in life and to caring for her family and friends with immeasurable love.

Angela was a dedicated member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Westfield, NJ.  She supported and encouraged Jim in his work with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North America, Saint Basil's Academy, The Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, and the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of NJ. She was involved with the Ladies Philoptochos chapters in Illinois and New Jersey.  Angela supported efforts of the Metropolitanate of HK and Southeast Asia as well as the Orphanage in Calcutta, India.  

Angela's memory will be cherished and will always remain in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave. Westfield, NJ on Wednesday, February 6 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM with a Trisagion service at 7PM.  Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, February 7 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 250 Gallows Hill Road, Westfield, NJ.  Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
