Todd William Kraft, Sr.

Todd William Kraft Sr., 75, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at AristaCare at Parkside in Linden, NJ after his four month battle with serious head trauma passing quietly in his sleep. 

Todd was born in West Orange, NJ to William “Bill” and Mary Kraft. They moved to Roselle Park, NJ during the early 1950’s. 

Todd met the love of his life, Eileen “Bunny” Brady Kraft during their time at Roselle Park High School. It was love at first sight when she caught his eye while driving his ‘57 Chevy. Bunny was the sweet innocent schoolgirl that the Rebel Without A Cause knew he’d end up marrying one day; they married May 20, 1972. He always said he married the most beautiful girl in Roselle Park. 

Over the course of 52 years married, 57 years together they raised two sons Todd W. Kraft Jr. and Scott Kraft. Todd a.k.a “Pa” absolutely adored his grandchildren Scotty Jr., Kase and baby Adeline and his two blonde bombshell daughters-in-law, Marina (Todd) Kraft and Jody (Scott) Copier. 

For 44 years, Todd was a tool and die machinist for GEC Aerospace in Whippany, NJ. After retiring from GEC, Todd became a crossing guard for the Roselle Park School District. 

Besides the unconditional love for his family, he had a passion for antique and vintage muscles cars building them from the ground up. Over the course of 50+ years, he won hundreds of trophies which he proudly displayed in his three-car garage. He played guitar starting at a young age and was even in a band that played on the roof tops of Seaside, NJ boardwalk venues. He loved old country music, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. 

Todd will be honored at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4pm-8pm. Funeral will be 10am Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Higgins and Bonner then to his final place of rest at Graceland Cemetery in Kenilworth, NJ.
