William Edward Bransfield

William Edward Bransfield, 88, passed away on January 10, 2018.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Elizabeth. The mass will be celebrated by Rev. Hilary O’Leary, OSB from Delbarton/St/ Mary’s Abbey in Morristown.  Mr. Bransfield worked at the Union County Courthouse for over 40 years.  He was the former head usher at Blessed Sacrament RC Church and a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.  Mr. Bransfield was born in Elizabeth and lived there before moving to Southern New Jersey in 2000. He predeceased by his parents, William and Grace Bransfield.  Mr. Bransfield is survived by his sister, Grace Bransfield Farley and his nieces, Gail Farley Wilkerson, Nancie Farley Wardrop and Katie Farley Nolle.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Creature Comfort Pet Therapy, P.O.
