Robert B. Cleveland

Robert B Cleveland Sr., formally of Westfield, NJ, 80, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2017 surrounded by his four loving children.  “Bob” was born on July 26, 1937 in Newark, NJ; he was the son of Harry and Helen Cleveland and one of seven children.

On September 10, 1961, he married the love of his life, Carole Ann Telson from Bloomfield, NJ. When they first wed, they lived in Hawaii in the early 1960's, where Bob was stationed in the Army serving as an Armed Services driver for Colonels and Generals. When his military service brought them back to the states, he and Carole settled in Westfield, NJ where they raised their four children.

Bob worked for Ideal Dairy for 20 plus years as a dedicated milkman and then at Bell Medical for 10 years as a Field Supervisor.  He enjoyed horse racing, playing cards and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Bob Cleveland is survived by his four children; Laura Litchholt of Westfield, NJ, Kim Arthur of Red Bank, NJ, Robert Cleveland Jr. of Manhattan, and Shannon Vincenti of Annandale, NJ, and his six grandchildren; Briana and William Litchholt, Quinn and Cole Arthur and, Amelia and Annabel Vincenti. He is further survived by his brother Donald Cleveland, and his brother-in-law, Richard Telson.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carole Cleveland.

Viewing will be held at Higgins & Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, NJ 07090 on Thursday, Sept 14th from 2-4PM & 7-9PM.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept 15th at 12 Noon at the funeral home.
