Raymond A. Smith  80, Union, NJ

Ray passed away with his wife and son by his side on October 19, 2017.

He was truly a funny, honest, loving man.  You will be missed Dad!

He leaves behind his beloved wife and partner in life, Carole (nee: Goldberg)

His adored and sound alike son, Stephen & his wife Sally Ann of Brick, NJ.

Brother in law- Allan Simberloff, Hillside & his family.  Lou Goldberg & Brenda & family – Raleigh, NC.

He leaves behind to reminisce – Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and dear life-long friends that were there up until the end.

Born in Elizabeth- Ray excelled in sports- especially baseball. South Paw pitching got him into the Elizabeth Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008. He graduated Lafayette College, as was part of the 1958 World Series Baseball Team- providing his outstanding pitching.

He is predeceased by his parents, and much loved sister, Rosanne Simberloff ( Yankee Fan!)

Graveside Service- Sunday- October 22nd @ 2:15 PM.  Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ
