Massimo Arpino

Massimo Arpino, 55, passed away on Monday, August 14th, surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Arpino was the owner and operator of Romeo’s Pizzeria in Orange, New Jersey for over 30 years.  For the last few years of his life, he worked alongside his wife, Yris, at her real estate company. 

Massimo immigrated to the United States from Italy when he was 9 years old.  He had a love for spending time at the beach with his family, soccer and food.

Mr. Arpino is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Yris Arpino, and his children, Massimo Arpino Jr., Giancarlo Arpino and Mikaela Arpino, as well as his seven siblings, Philip Arpino, Bruno Arpino, Ezio Arpino, Elvira Oakerson, Maurizio Arpino, Elio Arpino and Gianfranco Arpino.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 17th from 4-8pm at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, New Jersey 07090. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 18th at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes, 300 Central Avenue, Mountainside, New Jersey 07092, with entombment at  Hollywood Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, New Jersey 07083.
