Jean M. Gervino-Ellis

Jean Gervino-Ellis, of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, passed away on April 23rd at the age of 59, after a long illness. Daughter of Elaine and Anthony Gervino, she was born in Yonkers, New York on October 22nd, 1957.

Jean received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, before earning her Master’s degree from Fordham University in New York City. She was a successful market research executive at various multinational corporations before founding the successful Summit Research Group, based in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.

She is survived by her beloved husband Jim Ellis, daughter Catherine Rebecca Ellis, son James Anthony Ellis; her mother Elaine; siblings Cathy, Elena, John, Valerie and Tony, and sisters-in-law Lorraine, Kathy, Jade and Gina.

A wake will be held on Thursday, April 27th from 4pm to 8pm at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lakes Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, New Jersey, 07090. Jean’s funeral service will be on Friday, April 28th at 10am at Church of the Little Flower, 310 Plainfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.
