Elizabeth Ann Napier

Elizabeth Ann Napier, 54, of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on April 22 in NY Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. Elizabeth was an school teacher at the Montessori School in Brooklyn Heights. She was entrepreneur and had interests in real estate, wine futures, pottery and the bar business . She traveled extensively with her husband John and daughter Lu Lu. She had an incredible zest for life which was contagious. Elizabeth was a graduate of Westfield High School and Hunter college. She was born and raised in Westfield and lived in Manhattan before moving to Brooklyn.

 Elizabeth was predeceased by her father William Napier and her brother Steve Napier. She is survived by her husband John Paul Benincasa, her daughter Lu Lu Napier-Benincasa, her mother Mildred Napier of Westfield, her sister Patricia Foster and her husband Lawrence Foster  MD of Brewster NY, her brother William Napier and his wife Elizabeth of Washington Crossing PA, and her brother Terrence Napier and his wife Suzanne of Doylestown PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday April 27 from 7-9 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave. Westfield NJ. Funeral services and committal will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donation to the LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, NYC would be greatly appreciated.
