Clelia Fiorini

Clelia Fiorini, age 91, entered eternal peace on Monday, September 11, 2017, in the comfort of her home in Garwood, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 7, 1926 in San Gennarello di Ottaviano, Naples, Italy. Clelia, daughter of the late Salvatore Ambrosio and Maria Rosa Carillo Ambrosio. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 63 years Fernando Fiorini from the same Italian town and by her siblings Giovanni, Aniello and Giuseppe.

Clelia together with her husband and two daughters emigrated to this country in 1961. In 1963, she was blessed with the birth of her son Fernando. With hard work and dedication Clelia built a wonderful life for her family. She inspired her children and grandchildren to always study and to work hard so that they could achieve their goals to succeed in life. She instilled on them to love one another and the importance of family. Clelia loved to sing Neapolitan songs and she was a very creative seamstress. She loved her garden and enjoyed telling stories about her family in Italy. She adored her family unconditionally and sacrificed tirelessly for them including the generations to come.

Clelia's large family in Italy and here in the United States suffers a great loss, but knows that she is in a wonderful place with her loving husband who has been watching over her the last 7 years. She resided in Garwood the last 30 years. Previously she and her family lived in Brooklyn NY.

Clelia is survived by her 3 children, Maria Fiorini Ramirez and her husband George of Far Hills NJ. Rosaria Fiorini Urrico and her husband Ralph Urrico of Garwood and Fernando Fiorini and his wife Wanda of Basking Ridge, NJ.  Also, she is survived by 6 grandchildren Angela Maria Grau, Michael Andrew Urrico, Emily Rose Urrico, Sofia Rose Fiorini, Rachael Marie Fiorini, John Fernando Fiorini and her newborn great granddaughter Charlotte Grace Urrico.

Visitation will be held at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home located at 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, NJ, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday September 15, 2017. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 16, 2017 at 9:30AM at Saint Anne 's Church located at 325 2nd Avenue, Garwood NJ 07027. Burial will follow at Fairview cemetery in Westfield, NJ.

Rest in peace to our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt to many and watch over us forever.
