Anthony O. Noto

Anthony O. Noto passed away at home on March 13, 2017 after a long illness.  He was 90 years old. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield. www.higginsandbonner.com A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church in Clark on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM. He was a kind, gentle and religious man whose moral life was an inspiration to those who knew him. Anthony was married to his wife, Margaret for 64 years.  He is also survived by his Son, Anthony and Daughter-in-law Rosemary (nee) Neidlinger, his Daughter Rose and her husband Joseph G. Puleo III, his Daughter Catherine and her husband Raymond P. Thek, Grandchildren Anthony Noto, III, Joseph G. Puleo III, Jonathan J. Puleo, Justine M. Puleo, Jennifer M. Puleo, Alexandra C. Thek, Raymond P. Thek III and Daniel G. Thek, and three great-granddaughters, Olivia Noelle, Antonella Regina and Giovanna Rose.  Anthony was a decorated WWII vet who served in the US Army 33rd Infantry Division. He was also an accomplished and talented musician.  He worked at Accurate Bushing Company as a tool and die maker for 40 years until his retirement in 1990.  Anthony was a perfect example of how a seemingly ordinary life can have an extraordinary impact on the world.  He is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed by his family.
