Loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother, 88

Amelia “Mae” A. Klebous of Mountainside died with peace and dignity March 10, 2017 after a brief illness.  Amelia was happily married to the late William Klebous Sr. for 59 years. Amelia is survived by her children, Bill of Australia, Lori of Westfield, her beloved sister Alice and brother-in-law Dick Fallon, four grandchildren Sandy, Alex, Ali and Will and numerous nieces and nephews. Amelia’s youngest son Ken passed away in 2006. She was the embodiment of hard work, quiet strength, independence, tenacity and living life on her own terms. She will be sorely missed.

Born in Elizabeth, Amelia was a long time resident of Elizabeth and Kenilworth before moving to Mountainside. She also spent years on Long Beach Island enjoying her summer home with family and friends. Arrangements are by the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home of Westfield with a 10:00 a.m. mass of Christian burial on March 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes, Mountainside, NJ.
